2024 RBGC Club Championships - Amended Match Dates

Hello RBGC members,

We have identified a date discrepancy in our scheduled events that has been identified as follows:

• The published 2024 golf calendar on the website (click here) has the Club Champs and the Shirley & Colin Simpson Stableford Trophy on the 12^th October.
• The originally published draws for the Club Champs have the final matches scheduled for 30^th November (click here) – which is also the weekend of the Shootout (on 1^st December).

To give you all enough time to play your club champs matches but avoid having all three events noted above on the same weekend, we will be changing the Club Championships Finals and the Simpson Stableford Trophy event to 9^th November. The new dates of all matches will be as below, and all updated draws are now available here on our website - click here & on the clubhouse notice board.

• Earlier rounds completed by 5th October
• Quarter finals completed by 19th October
• Semi-finals completed by 2nd November
• Finals - held on 9^th November in conjunction with the Simpson Stableford Trophy event

And for our Club Championship winners please note that the 2024 Champion of Champions Trophy Event is on Sunday 24^th November at Carterton Golf Club. Both the men’s & women’s competitions are held on this day, and we hope to be able to field a full mixed team again this year!
