We had the largest field we have ever had for the Christmas Cheer tournament, with a field of 76 full playing members including juniors, life and secondary members. This tournament has continued to grow year on year and is always a fun day! The overall winner for the Wally Hepburn Trophy was Maurice Filer with an astounding 47 stableford points, one of those days that he could do nothing wrong and all the bounces were good. Well done.

There were a number of highly commendeds as well with Robert Brewer (also a sponsor) Mike Southey and Karen Barbour, all scoring in the 40’s.

It was decided to have the main Riversdale Beach Prizegiving during this tournament. This enabled us to celebrate all our club competition winners in style. Well done all of you. All the official results are with the AGM information.

A number of changes will be made to next years tournament in light of the huge response, and we will be offering two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
